As the modern industrial activity of SIB-ADR is constantly growing, the buildings we have been occupying until now are currently decrepit and unsuitable.
That is why a territorial choice had be made and a fast enlargement solution had to be found. We have decided to build our new premises only a few meters away from the place where SIB-ADR was founded in 1922.
The foundation stone is to be laid in June 2009.
Our new 11,000 m² buildings will be divided into manufacturing workshops using two processes, offices and a big storage warehouse. Thanks to this tomove, our company will optimize its working conditions, improve the flows and extend its storage area.
In addition to the 11,000 m² needed for the new premises, 3 ha are still available on the development site, in case of another expansion in the future.
Thus we will reach a more rational organisation of our flows and focus our ambition on technological innovation, with only one aim in mind: to become the world leader in our industrial field in the 4 coming years.
As a company that is always focusing on innovation and that makes it a point of honour to come up to its clients’ expectations, SIB-ADR, in collaboration with its sister company Schlemmer GmbH, has developed an all new patented EMC cable gland – with electromagnetic compatibility-.
This system permits the cable gland not to be affected by electromagnetic or radio frequencies (IEM/RFI) interferences that could disrupt the efficiency of the plant to which it is connected.
Our patented system fulfils three functions:
- Watertightness of the cable
- Cable earthing
- Traction relief of the cable
Thanks to its metallic insert, our new EMC SIB-TEC permits a grounding continuity on 360°C and can be mounted with the same simplicity as a normal cable gland.
Our EMC cable gland is a perfect complement to an armoured cable and provides an efficient shield connection.
The year 2009 means the beginning of a new innovation era for SIB-ADR. Our company, which has been among the world leaders of industrial cable glands for many years, is now asserting itself as an innovative manufacturer in the field of ATEX.
