What is SIB-ADR?

- The machining capacity is about 3,000 tons of brass bars a year.

- Our manpower on both sites of production consists of 130 persons.
Our company established in 1922 in BOULAY-MOSELLE, in North-Eastern France, and is a part of the MACKPRANG Holding in Hamburg, Germany. Since then we have been thoroughly developing and have become a worldwide renowned manufacturer of cable glands and a reliable supplier and partner of our clients. Cable glands are designed to ensure watertightness and protection between cables and various pieces.
An important key to success is our uncompromising demand on quality from the development of our products to the relations with our customers. SIB-ADR is one of the most dynamic companies on the international market.

Moreover, we are constantly developing new solutions in collaboration with our clients, in the very demanding fields of the navy, the aviation, the automobile and so on, to meet the market growing demand.
SIB-ADR has a DIN in ISO 9001 certificate (certificate number 01 100 77020 dated May 4th 2006 and delivered by TÜV Anlagentechnik GmbH). The renewal of the certification for the next 3 years will be done soon.
Research & Development
SIB-ADR has a look to the long term and invests a lot in its Research & Development department to be ahead of its time. Our engineers are constantly innovating and developing new products. Thanks to high-performance design and creation tools, like for example the latest Solid Works softwares, we are able to offer our customers the products they need and deserve. Moreover, the Research & Development department will soon benefit from the new premises that our firm is building and will be even more competitive in the near future.
Location
- Our headquarters and the majority of our production means are located in BOULAY-MOSELLE, 20 kilometers away from Metz and close to Germany and Luxembourg.
- A second factory where the building products range is manufactured is located in LABOISSIERE-EN-THELLE, in the Greater Paris Area.
Quality & Environment
SIB-ADR believes in ethical values and concerns itself with the protection of the environment. That is why we support the Austrian association Regenwald der Österreicher (Rainforest of the Austrians). Until a short time ago, the 159 square kilometers (61 square mile) Esquinas rainforest in southern Costa Rica was severely endangered by logging. Its biodiversity is one of the largest on Earth: up to 180 tree species per ha, 3000 species of plants, 320 species of birds and rare animals such as jaguars, ocelots and four species of monkeys. The association Rainforest of the Austrians, founded by Michael Schnitzler in 1991, is dedicated to saving the Esquinas rainforest by buying the land and donating it to the Republic of Costa Rica. Donations are used to purchase properties that are then integrated into Piedras Blancas National Park. Recently, Rainforest of the Austrians has initiated a reforestation project with the intention of linking the Esquinas Rainforest with isolated tracts of forest. The goal is to conserve species diversity and to counter global climate change by sequestering carbon. In addition to the purchase of land in the Esquinas forest, the project includes protection, research, ecotourism and regional development. SIB-ADR is proud to make a contribution to this project.
